Move from Complexity to Simplicity with Google Cloud

Data Management Event | ground2cloud series | April '17

Many Enterprise organisations have already embarked upon their journey from the ground to the cloud. It's a journey that brings huge excitement, and offers massive future potential, but it's also one that has been surrounded in uncertainty, challenges, and unanswered questions.

Penny Jackson, Head of Data Management, will share her insights and lessons learned from successfully transforming data management at Jaguar Land Rover. She will be revealing the challenges, opportunities, and the key steps in moving a large, complex organisation away from traditional IT solutions and into new ways of working with Google Cloud.

We will also have data experts from Jaguar Land Rover, Google, and Appsbroker facilitating break-out sessions where you can ask, and get answers to, the important questions you have for your own cloud journey:

  • Culture & Operating Model | How to avoid a Data Lake turning into a 'Data Pit', and helping the business understand and embrace the use of cloud data capabilities
  • Technology & Integration | Exploring the different Google Cloud technology and how it all fits together to solve real world business problems
  • Data Architecture | Technical forum to explore BI and Data Architecture to build out Data Lake / Enterprise Data Warehouse

This event is ideally suited to the senior leaders within large enterprise organisations who are looking to build their cloud data strategy, or for data architects who want to understand more about the power and innovation Google Cloud offers.
