We are in a very exciting period of hyper growth growing from 150 + to 300 staff and we need exceptional business development executives to help drive further expansion. We have two levels within Business Development, Associates (1-2 years experience) and Executives (2-3 years experience).

Role Summary

The Business Development Executive  is a key role in the sales organisation tasked with identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound calling activities. The right candidate will be one who works well under pressure, thinks out-of-the-box, easily initiates relaxed but informative two-way phone/video conversations with prospects, and is highly self-motivated. The right candidate will also understand how to assess a company’s needs and cater the outreach to each prospect specifically.

You will have the opportunity to be closely mentored and professionally developed by very experienced Appsbroker sales professionals working with you to help identify opportunity, qualify opportunity and win.

Responsibilities

  • Develop opportunities for the sales team from prospecting and marketing generated leads;
  • Interact with prospects via telephone,  and email with a high attention to detail;
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives;
  • Learn how Appsbroker works from the ground up and build the foundation for your career in Sales at Appsbroker;
  • Work with our dedicated Account teams to identify ongoing strategic targets;
  • Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, LinkedIn and other social mediums;
  • Research your target companies and prepare executive summaries to turn your Account Manager into a guru ahead of their calls;
  • Diligently update Hubspot, our CRM, to stay current on leads and follow-ups;
  • Shadow your dedicated Account Team in meetings and other activities to help you acquire the skills you’ll need for your next role on the Appsbroker sales team.

Mandatory Skills

  • For the business development executive level, 2-3 years of proven excellence in business development, inside sales and/or telesales
  • A commercially minded, resilient and persistent personAn understanding of the changing needs of customers and transformation opportunities would be valuable, and experience in IT/Cloud for the Business Development Executive role is desirable
  • Experience using Salesforce/Hubspot, Microsoft or comparable CRM strongly desired. Experience of MS Office or Google Apps and Linkedin/social media required.
  • Strong understanding of business development and lead development best practices and procedures
  • Proven ability to perform successfully given low oversight and limited process
  • 100% reliable and detail-oriented. A drive to execute flawlessly.
  • Positive can-do attitude and tireless work ethic. Driven and self-sufficient.
