The Senior Project Manager has a key responsibility for leading the successful delivery of a wide range of complex solutions and transformation projects for our clients. The role is highly adaptable and provides the opportunity to liaise with senior stakeholders across client businesses to execute on their own specific requirements.
The successful applicant will show aptitude at working in agile environments, as well as co-ordinating internal teams against external demands while reacting to dynamic circumstances. Additionally, the Senior role will support other Project Managers as well as technical and sales team in improving their experience and skillsets.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Co-ordinate key internal and external stakeholders to deliver complex projects within challenging timescales
Deploy a wide range of solutions using Google Cloud Platform, ranging from complex infrastructure migrations through to custom application development
Operate bimodally, delivering strategic projects while managing agile requirements
Co-ordinate the delivery of end-to-end projects of values of £500,000 and more
Travel to a variety of client locations, both in the UK and abroad
Engage at a senior level with clients and partners, including with C-level executives (particularly CIO & CTO roles), to build & develop strong relationships
Support more junior Project Management and other technical colleagues and help develop their skills and experience
Help to establish templates, policies, tools and partnerships to support Appsbroker’s continued growth
Drive continual improvements across the Project Management team and, where applicable, the business
Take an analytical approach to performance management and optimisation
Apply Appsbroker’s high quality standards across all projects and areas of work and delight end-customers
Negotiate and manage commercial agreements
Deliver projects in rapid timescales and within challenging budgets
Continue your professional growth and explore new and emerging technologies
You should have:
A solid structured and standard approach to work practices such as Prince 2, ITIL, Agile and Scrum
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector
An understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and ideally related technologies
Accurate reporting abilities
The ability to create structure from ambiguous environments
Decisiveness in solving complex issues
