How a ticketing and events company benefited from a CSPR

ABOUT THE CUSTOMER
The customer is a ticketing and event company that offers a platform for ticket sales, event promotion, and distribution for various events such as concerts, festivals, and theatre shows, with a presence in multiple territories, including Europe.
OUR ROLE
With such a large customer and organisation base, the customer needed a way to ensure the best possible security in Google Cloud. It engaged Appsbroker to conduct a review and, at the same time, connect Cloud Identity to its existing SSO provider.
THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was to identify areas for further enhancement to ensure secure Cloud adoption and demonstrate additional security benefits. The customer needed Appsbroker to implement Azure Active Directory Synchronisation (AD) SSO and Identity Synchronisation for a comprehensive approach to Cloud Identity.
THE SOLUTION
Appsbroker conducted a review of the customer’s existing Google Cloud estate by performing a Cloud Security Posture Review (CSPR) Silver on the Google Cloud Org and three client-chosen projects. This comprehensive report included recommendations for improvements based on security best practices and suggested security hygiene measures, with an executive summary for senior stakeholders.
THE BENEFITS
This project successfully allowed the customer to see where its configurations were aligned to best practice and where updates could be made. They can now be assured that the guidance offered as a result of his Cloud Security Posture Review will light the way for continued growth on Google Cloud at scale, and with maximum security and operational efficiency to protect its estate.
